Jordanian Delegation Visits GRP Pipe Factory in Adana, Turkey

Pipekom recently welcomed a delegation from Jordan, consisting of five engineers responsible for a major water transmission project in their country.

The visit took place in Adana, Turkey, where the delegation toured a large-diameter Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipe production facility. Led by our Managing Director, Mr. Milan Misirli, the group observed each stage of the manufacturing process, including:

• Raw material preparation and resin mixing

• Filament winding for precise pipe forming

• Hydrostatic pressure testing and strict quality control

• Internal and external coating processes

• Final inspection, packing, and shipment preparation

  
  

During the visit, the team discussed technical specifications, project requirements, and international standards such as ISO 25780 and AWWA C950.
